About Rick Page Quality Landscaping
Hello, my name is Rick Page. A resident of Pittsburgh, landscaping has been my passion and business for the last 35 years. My training includes four years of vocational training in ornamental horticulture design and planning and one year of environmental science. I am also a past president of the Future Farmers of America.
My past work as fore person includes jobs for the City of Pittsburgh Parks and Recreation Department and Forestry Division. For example, I ran the design and installation work at Kittaning Park in Armstrong County, which won various architectural awards. I also have experience as foreperson on a number of landscape architects in the Pittsburgh area. These projects have included streetscapes, tree planting, sidewalks, and stone work. Other work in the surrounding Pittsburgh area includes various sports complexes, schools, parks and nature trails. Residential work has included complete landscapes with walls, patios, driveways, and planting. My seed and sod installation have included various parks and residential homes.
I now specialize in stone work, natural landscapes and water features such as pond/aquascape design. Our objective is to create a natural scene, using native plants and stones such as Belgian block and/or flagstone for patios and driveways. Our driveway work has included concrete, asphalt, Omani stone, and Belgian block.
On most of my larger projects I use skilled union craftsman, along with my own children. My son Alan is 23 years old and has been working with me for at least 13 years. My 20 year old daughter Carly works in the office handling design and art. My 14 year old son Nick is also learning the business.
I have done work in Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion and Beaver Counties. So no matter where you live near Pittsburgh, Rick Page Quality Landscaping is always available to you.
